The Art Instinct will be published on January 1, 2009 in the United States and Canada by Bloomsbury Press. The book will be published in Britain, Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world on February 12, 2009 — the two-hundreth anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin — by the Oxford University Press.
